Your files should stay yours.

BeanNest prefers local browser processing. The current PDF quick tools, PDF Editor, and image/PDF conversion tools read and create files on your device. BeanNest does not provide an upload endpoint for these tools.

What the browser tools do not send

They do not send PDF or image bytes, filenames, page text, thumbnails, document metadata, face or image information, or a file fingerprint to BeanNest. Results and previews use temporary browser objects that are removed when you replace files, reset a tool, close an Editor workspace, or leave the page.

Aggregate analytics and advertising

BeanNest may use aggregate Cloudflare traffic reporting to understand visits, requests, popular paths, countries, device categories, and data transfer. BeanNest currently has no visitor accounts, and the local management dashboard does not store visitor-level profiles.

Advertising is currently disabled. When enabled, only configured ad slots load the approved provider script. File processing remains independent of advertising, and PDF or image contents are not provided to the advertising service by the tools.

Contact messages

Messages sent to [email protected] are handled through Gmail. The sender address, message, and any details you choose to include are used to reply, investigate a report, or handle a privacy or security request. They are not added to a newsletter or marketing list.

Because Gmail hosts the address, Google processes and stores email under its own service terms and privacy practices. Do not send files, passwords, identity documents, financial records, medical information, or other sensitive content. Contact records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry, security, recordkeeping, or legal requirements. You may use the same address to request access, correction, or deletion of contact information held by the project, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Important limitation

Browser processing uses your device memory and CPU. Versioned file, page, pixel, parser, thumbnail, history, and output limits reject jobs before they are likely to destabilize the browser. Unknown devices use the conservative profile. Local synthetic benchmarks can support a reviewed future limit change, but no visitor document or device measurement is transmitted for this purpose. Compress PDF and PDF to Images rasterize content; page-copy and Editor exports can also lose document-level structures. Keep every original when selectable text, forms, links, annotations, signatures, bookmarks, or accessibility structure matter.
