How to play

Hold the screen at a comfortable distance and look at the side-by-side stereo pair. Gently cross your eyes until the two guide dots appear as three, then relax your focus on the middle fused picture. Choose the Orb, Cube, Star, or Gem that appears closest. Reveal answer shows the depth order whenever you want it, and Skip this pair lets you move on without a penalty. The current set contains 24 reviewed pairs and has no timer or lives pressure.

Tips for this game

If the middle image will not settle, change your viewing distance a little instead of forcing your focus. Stop and rest if your eyes feel strained.
Use Reveal when you want to compare the intended depth order with what you saw; use Skip whenever a pair is uncomfortable or simply does not fuse for you.

You can Reveal the answer or Skip the pair at any time, with no failure state. Stereo fusion differs from person to person, and the game does not promise that every player will perceive the effect.

Is Cross Your Eyes the same as Hidden 3D?

No. Cross Your Eyes uses two side-by-side images for crossed viewing. Hidden 3D uses a single-image stereogram and parallel viewing, so the two games keep different viewing instructions.
