Lumen Sudoku

Solve eight original verified 9x9 Sudoku puzzles in Classic mode, or play the Constellation variant where four deterministic star paths must strictly increase from the large bulb to the small gold tip. Both modes include notes, bounded undo, explainable hints, isolated local progress, accessible controls, and responsive phone-to-desktop play.

How to play

Fill every row, column, and 3x3 box with the digits 1 through 9 without repeating a digit in any of those groups. Classic uses ordinary Sudoku rules. Constellation adds four visible star paths whose digits must strictly increase from the large bulb toward the small gold tip.

Tips for this game

  • Use Notes to record legal candidates when a cell is not ready for a final digit; placing a digit automatically clears that candidate from its row, column, and box peers.
  • In Constellation, select a path cell to emphasize the path and its position before choosing a digit. A star on the number pad identifies a digit blocked by the rising-path rule rather than ordinary Sudoku.
  • Hints prefer supported singles when possible and mark the run as assisted. Time and mistakes do not end a puzzle.

Common questions

Are Classic and Constellation the same puzzle rules?

They share the normal 9x9 Sudoku row, column, and box rules. Constellation adds four strictly increasing paths and keeps its run and statistics separate from Classic.

Can I undo notes and assisted moves?

Undo restores the board, notes, selection, mistakes, hints, and assistance state for the bounded recent history supported by the game.
