Word Lantern: Endless Guess
Light hidden five-letter words with Beacon, Ember, and Dusk clues. Play Classic Endless trails or Crazy Chain Lantern, a deterministic three-stage run with linked letters and enforced clue constraints.
How to play
Guess the hidden five-letter word in up to six accepted guesses. Beacon marks a correct letter in the correct position, Ember marks a letter that belongs elsewhere, and Dusk means no unused copy of that letter remains. Classic starts a fresh endless round; Crazy Chain Lantern links three stages and requires each later stage to use the final letter carried from the previous answer.

Tips for this game
- Read duplicate-letter feedback carefully: the game evaluates exact matches first, then consumes only the remaining copies for Ember clues.
- In Crazy mode, the incoming chain letter is mandatory in every accepted guess after stage one, and revealed clue constraints become mandatory after the first accepted guess of each stage.
- A short, unknown, chain-breaking, or clue-breaking entry is rejected without consuming one of the six accepted guesses.
Common questions
Is Word Lantern a once-per-day puzzle?
No. Classic is an endless sequence of five-letter rounds, while Crazy is a deterministic three-stage chain run.
Does sharing reveal the answer?
The share output is designed to show clue symbols and run progress without including the hidden answer.
