Arithmosaic

Arithmosaic is an original arithmetic-crossword puzzle. Place every number from the bank into the intersecting equations so each horizontal and vertical expression is exactly true. Free Play supports Easy through Expert puzzles, while Daily serves one deterministic Standard puzzle for the player's local date.

How to play

Choose a number from the bank, then choose an empty number slot in the crossing arithmetic grid. Use every bank number exactly once so every horizontal and vertical equation is true at the same time. Free Play offers Easy through Expert profiles; Daily serves one deterministic Standard puzzle for the player's local date.

Tips for this game

  • Work from crossings where one number participates in both a horizontal and vertical equation, because a single placement must satisfy both directions.
  • Use Undo when a placement leads to a contradiction. Sorting the bank changes only its display order and does not change the puzzle or your placement history.
  • Nudge explains one supported deduction without placing a number for you. Using it marks the run as assisted, so use it when you want help rather than an automatic solve.

Common questions

Does a Nudge fill a number for me?

No. Nudge gives an explainable deduction from the public puzzle state but does not place a bank token. The run is marked assisted after a successful Nudge.

How does the Daily puzzle work?

Daily uses one deterministic Standard puzzle for the player's local calendar date. Completing it records that date once, then the completion action can continue into Free Play.
