Cedar Solitaire

Play Cedar Solitaire in Draw 1 or Draw 3 mode with researched Klondike rules, whole-run movement, unlimited redeals, visual how-to-play guidance, undo, hints, accessible keyboard/touch controls, local records, and same-device resume.

How to play

Build tableau columns downward in alternating colors and move Aces through Kings to the four same-suit foundations. Empty tableau columns accept a King or a valid run beginning with a King. Draw 1 reveals one stock card at a time; Draw 3 reveals up to three while only the current waste top can be played.

Tips for this game

  • Prioritize moves that expose a face-down tableau card, because opening hidden cards creates more legal choices.
  • Move a whole valid face-up descending alternating-color run when that creates a useful empty space or exposes another card.
  • Cedar uses unlimited redeals in both Draw 1 and Draw 3. Hints suggest a currently legal move but do not claim it is optimal.

Common questions

Are all deals guaranteed solvable?

No. Deals are deterministic for replay and resume, but the game does not promise that every random deal is solvable.

Can I switch between Draw 1 and Draw 3?

Both modes are available. The selected stock mode changes how cards are drawn while the core Klondike tableau and foundation rules stay the same.
