Constraint grids
In these games, a placement has to satisfy several overlapping constraints at once. The useful question is not only what can go in one cell, but what that choice means for its row, column, region, or neighboring clues.
Sudoku and ordered paths
Lumen Sudoku
Lumen Sudoku uses the standard 9x9 row, column, and 3x3 box rules. Its separate Constellation mode adds visible star paths whose digits must strictly increase from the large bulb toward the small gold tip.
Binary logic
Bit Balance
Bit Balance replaces Sudoku digits with 0 and 1. Every completed line must contain equal counts, no line may contain three identical consecutive bits, and completed rows and columns must be unique.
Rectangle partition
Rectweave
Rectweave divides the entire board into rectangles. Each rectangle owns one numbered clue, and its area in cells must equal that clue without overlapping another rectangle.
Connections and local deductions
These games make you reason about relationships between positions: which islands may connect, which covered cells can still be mines, or which number pairs can see each other through cleared space.
Island bridges
Isleline
Isleline connects nearest visible numbered islands with zero, one, or two straight bridges. Bridges cannot cross, each island must reach its clue total, and all islands must finish in one connected network.
Minesweeper deduction
Signal Sweep
Signal Sweep reveals number clues that count adjacent mines. You combine overlapping counts, flags, and already-cleared cells to decide where a mine can or cannot be.
Number-pair elimination
Tenthread
Tenthread clears two live numbers only when they are equal or add to 10, share a row or column, and every socket strictly between them is already clear. Cleared sockets stay empty in place.
